The men and women who work within the trucking industry are responsible for delivering the goods that we use every day. We often take for granted our easy access to food, building materials, fuel, cars, and other commodities. If not for the hard working individuals who load, drive, and repair the trucks that deliver goods to our doorstep, daily life would be much the same as it was 100 years ago. We clearly owe those responsible for moving our goods across the American landscape our most heartfelt respect and gratitude.
The Sidewinder Crank Company and its parent company Rhinotrax International, Inc. are dedicated to designing, manufacturing and distributing innovative tools and parts for use in the trucking industry. We work with drivers, mechanics, operations managers, and parts distributors, to design new or better solutions to everyday challenges in the trucking industry.
Our first product, the Sidewinder Crank, is the world’s only strap rewinder guaranteed to make the flatbed driver’s job easier and faster. This original product was designed by Richard (Dick) Claycomb, a veteran truck driver and mechanic from Mt. Airy, Maryland. He designed the tool to make the job of rewinding the straps on his own flatbed truck easier and faster.
